Flow Across The United States At The Medium Range, With
Flip-Flopping Volatility Still The Rule. The Ensemble Means Have
Tightened Up, Affording A Solid Synoptic Base For The Period.

The Gulf Of Mexico Opens Mid Period As A Large Cyclone Takes Shape Over The Upper Midwest, With Showers Breaking Out Over Much Of The Plains And Midwest.

The Northwest Also Looks Wet, With A Sharpening Trough Just Offshore Fueling Precipitation Along And West Of The Cascades.

Easterly Flow Should Remain Undisturbed Across The Florida Peninsula And Into South Texas, With An Ongoing Threat Of Rainfall In Those Areas.

Finally, The Monsoon Will Be Shunted Eastward By The Northwest Trough, With The Moisture From That Tropical Plume Extending From The Western Texas Panhandle Into The Southern Plains.
