Tropical Storm Barry Forms in the Gulf of Mexico

A second tropical storm has formed in the southern Gulf of Mexico.

Data from an Air Force Reconnaissance Aircraft indicates that the tropical storm depression two has strengthened and is now Tropical Storm Barry, the second tropical storm of the 2013 Hurricane Season.

Details will follow in the next regular advisory at 4 p.m. CDT.
