SYNOPSIS and Short Term...(Rest of today through Saturday NIGHT)...
Weak SFC ridging will remain in control of the region for the
remainder of tonight, with a canopy of HIGH clouds expected to hold
LOW TEMPS from falling below any lower than the upper 30s to MID 40s
from NW to SE. The next developing low PRESSURE system will be
advancing from the SW on Friday with RAIN chances increasing to 20
to 30 percent from west to east by the afternoon. Although rain
chances will be fairly high on Friday night AS the weak low and Sfc
Cold FRONT move through, the area wide QPF should be fairly low,
with much cooler and drier AIR building in on Saturday. This should
SET the STAGE for a WIDESPREAD light FREEZE on Saturday Night, with
possible WIND chill readings in the upper teens to lower 20s.
