Further north of Dothan on Thursday, there were also some strong storms.
In Goshen, southwest of Troy in Pike County, winds reached up to 50 miles per hour. As the final line of storms moved through during the day Thursday.
These strong winds blew garbage cans several feet, peeled back shingles and made it difficult to stand outside.
However, according to the Weather Service, no significant damage was reported from the county.
