Short Term Update

SHORT TERM [Friday Through Saturday Night]...
Another fair and warm day is in store for the Region on Friday, as a
ridge of High Pressure to our north slides slowly eastward. High
temps are expected to range from the Upper 60s to the Lower 70s, but
could be a bit higher depending on how much cloud cover advances
from the north-northwest out ahead of the next Cold Front. This Cold
Front continues to gradually weaken, with the rain chances out ahead
of it for Friday night continuing to decrease over time. In fact,
just have 20 percent PoPs for light rain across the Northern half of
the CWA (with a small strip of 30s which may be later removed).
Highs are expected to be similar on Sat., but will ultimately depend
on cloud cover as the front moves through. On Sat. Night, the once
expected "colder air" continues to modify with time, and Low temps
may only reach Climo levels after all.
