Short Term Update

SHORT TERM [Wednesday Through Thursday Night]...
Surface cold front will stall and become draped across the Florida
Big Bend tomorrow and likely become more diffuse in place into the
latter part of the week. Models are pretty consistent in spreading
light QPF/PoP over most of the region starting late tonight and
continue through Thursday as moist sw flow persists given weak
convergence near the stalled front. Thus will sustain chance to
slight chance of light rain showers through Thursday, with very
light QPF expected. Rain chances look to be greater late Wednesday
night into Thursday as a weak impulse brings additional
moisture/lift to the region and have maintained 50/60 PoPs across
nrn FL with 40-50 PoPs into GA/AL. Resultant clouds will keep
temperatures near normal with highs Wed/Thu in the mid 50s to
lower 60s, with the exception of the eastern Big Bend tomorrow
south of the front where any break in clouds could boost
temperatures into the lower 70s.
