Short Term Update

SHORT TERM [Friday Through Saturday Night]... Lingering low level
cloudiness (and corresponding temps) will be the primary fcst
concern on Friday, since we are expecting the areal coverage to
expand once again overnight. That said, we anticipate a steady
clearing trend from NW to SE after 12 UTC, with partly cloudy or
better sky conditions CWA wide by 18 UTC. High temps should range
from the lower to mid 60s to the north and west, with mid 60s to
near 70 well to the south and east. Low temps on Friday night (now
fcst in the mid to upper 40s) will be a bit challenging as well, as
cloudiness is expected to gradually return with isentropic lift out
ahead of the next diffuse low pressure system. Rain chances will
also be slowly on the increase, with 20% PoPs for light rain across
western portions of the CWA by Sat. Aftn. These slight chance PoPs
will spread eastward over the region on Sat. Night, before better
rain chances return for Sunday.
