Short Term Update

SHORT TERM [Thursday Through Friday Night]...Once the Upper Level
shortwave kicks the persistent Low Pressure system off to our NE
tonight, a ridge of High Pressure at the Sfc will build in quickly
from the NW. This ridge will advect in a shot of quite cool and dry
air into the region which will gradually modify as the weekend
approaches. Highs on Thursday will range from the upper 50s to the
lower 60s, but will modify to the mid to upper 60s (with a few lower
70s possible to the SE) on Friday. Thursday Night will be the
coldest night over the next several days, with low temps ranging
from the mid to upper 30s away from the immediate coast.
