Short Term Update

SHORT TERM [Wednesday Through Friday Night]...
Frontal boundary is forecast to linger across the area through
Wednesday, as the upper energy gradually weakens and washes out.
With minimal deep layer forcing, only isolated showers are
expected, with minimal QPF. Temperatures will remain warm on
Wednesday, with highs once again reaching the mid and upper 70s.

The main change for Thursday will be sfc high pressure building
down the eastern seaboard. This will increase east to northeast
winds across the eastern portion of the forecast area. This may
bring in an area of low clouds as well, which would hold temps
down a bit over the east. To account for this, went a bit below
the MAV guidance for max temperatures on Thursday, ranging fromt
he mid 70s along the I-10 corridor to the upper 60s towards Ben
Hill county.
