Short Term Update

SHORT TERM [Wednesday Through Thursday NIGHT]...

Wednesday and Thursday, the stubborn east coast TROUGH pattern
will begin to transition to deep layer ridging. Before
transitioning to the STABLE side of the trough, it looks as though
we will still have to deal with some LOW/mid level cloud cover, at
least for the first part of the day Wednesday. Cannot rule out a
stray sprinkle or two as well, however it is an unlikely scenario.
Thursday will be completely dry and skies will clear as the trough
passes to the east and ridging begins to overtake the region.
Afternoon highs will remain near average, while overnight lows
will hover a FEW degrees below average (in the upper 30s to lower
40s).
