NEAR TERM [Through Tonight]...
An upper level disturbance currently over extreme eastern Texas
this afternoon will move across the Lower Mississippi Valley
overnight. A surface low is expected to develop and be positioned
along the Louisiana coast with an eastward extending warm front
through our coastal waters by daybreak. We will continue to see
increasing clouds with showers developing mainly over the western
zones due to isentropic lift and PVA with the approach of the vort
max. PoPs will be tapered chance for our western zones and slight
chance to nil east of the river. Min temps will be much milder
with mid to upper 40s common for the inland areas and lower to mid
50s along the immediate coast.
