Near Term Update

NEAR TERM [Through Tonight]...
A very active cold front currently over the Lower Mississippi Valley
will weaken as it moves east tonight. However, we do expect at
least scattered showers to move into the western zones late this
evening. This activity may make it as far east as an Albany to
Tallahassee line by daybreak. PoPs will be tapered from lower end
chance (30%) west to slight (20%) and silent 10% east of the river.
Overnight temps and dew points will continue to be much above
seasonal levels. This along with plenty of low level moisture in
place we expect areas of fog to develop once again after midnight.
The fog may become dense, especially east of a line from around
Albany to Tallahassee.
