Michigan's Silverdome Damaged by Wind, Snow

The giant inflatable roof of the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan was extensively damaged Monday (1/21).

Officials said the roof was deflated earlier this month as part of a renovation project.

However, today's (1/21) video appears to show that some of the roof panels were shredded and tattered.

Silverdome officials say since they let the air out of the roof, it has been tearing because of the wind and snow. Officials say they expected this would happen.
