LONG TERM [Saturday through Wednesday]...
The large scale 500 MB HEIGHT pattern appears to be fairly
progressive, as the weekend opens with a dry cold front passage late
Friday night or early Saturday. There will be a brief window for a
light FREEZE Sunday and Monday mornings. For now our low TEMPERATURE
forecast is a few degrees above freezing, but this could change as
we get closer to the weekend. The coldest temperatures Monday
morning will be from Tallahassee eastward, as a warm up will have
begun over the western portions of our forecast area. Rain chances
will increase by next Tuesday and Wednesday as a cold front
approaches from the west. After a rather cool weekend, temperatures
will gradually warm next work week with no more threats of a freeze
through Wednesday.
