A masssive tornado swept through the southeastern Italian city of Taranto wednesday.
The twister was on the ground for more than two minutes.
Reports indicate the twister left behind major damage as it moved from the water into an industrial area.
A worker is missing after a crane was blown into the sea when a tornado hit the ILVA steel plant in Taranto on Wednesday with winds causing a tower and a lightning bolt knocking down a chimney.
The company said two people had been taken to hospital and 20 people suffered minor injuries as a result of the damage caused by the weather.
