Beach & Marine Forecast Evening Update thru Jul 20

Although an upper level low will gradually be drifting toward the northeast Gulf of Mexico...the surface pressure pattern is likely to remain very weak and benign.

Therefore the winds over the next several days are expected to be generally 10 knots or less...becoming onshore around 10 knots each afternoon near the coast.

The approaching upper level low will...however... lead to an increase in thunderstorm chances during the early part of the upcoming week.

As is typical this time of year...storms will be most common during the overnight and early morning hours.
