The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a Small
Craft Advisory... which is in effect until 4 am EST Saturday. A

Peak winds: northwest around 25 knots...

Peak seas: 9 to 12 feet offshore... 7 to 9 feet nearshore.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots...
and/or seas 7 feet or higher... are expected to produce hazardous
wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners... especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.

Today
Northwest wind around 25 knots with frequent gusts to gale force early this morning...becoming around 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 9 to 12 feet offshore and 6 to 8 feet nearshore...subsiding to 6 to 8 feet offshore and 4 to 6 feet nearshore in the afternoon. Protected waters very rough becoming choppy.

Tonight
North wind around 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Protected waters choppy.

Saturday
North wind 15 to 20 knots becoming 5 to 10 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet. Protected waters choppy becoming smooth.

Saturday Night
Northeast wind around 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Protected waters smooth.

Sunday
Southeast wind around 10 knots. Seas 1 to 2 feet. Protected waters smooth to a light chop.

Sunday Night
South wind 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots late. Seas 1 to 2 feet. Protected waters smooth increasing to a light to moderate chop. A slight chance of rain after midnight.

South wind 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Protected waters a light to moderate chop. A slight chance of rain in the morning...then a chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.
