Beach & Gulf Forecast thru Jun 6

Winds and seas will gradually subside as a persistent ridge weakens in response to an approaching weak cold front.

This front will move southeast and stall across the coastal waters Sunday and Monday...then gradually dissipate on Tuesday.

The weak pressure pattern will cause winds and seas to be low through Tuesday, then a low pressure system moving northeastward in the eastern Gulf of Mexico may cause an increase in winds and seas to exercise caution to possibly advisory levels winds and seas beginning Tuesday night.

This low will be monitored for signs of tropical development...but the chance of this happening in the next few days is low.
