SHORT TERM (TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT)...HOT AND DRY
CONDITIONS TO DOMINATE THE SHORT TERM.

AFTERNOON CONVECTION WILL DIMINISH NOT LONG AFTER SUNSET. EASTERLY
TO SOUTHEASTERLY FLOW WILL RESULT IN A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS ACROSS
APALACHEE BAY AND THE COASTAL WATERS ALONG THE EASTERN PANHANDLE
TOWARDS THE MORNING HOURS ON TUESDAY. ON TUESDAY...UPPER RIDGE
CONTINUES TO BUILD OVERHEAD AND WILL RESULT IN BELOW CLIMO POPS
DURING THE AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN IN THE MID 90S
WITH HEAT INDICIES AROUND 100 DEGREES. SLIGHT POPS WILL REMAIN
OFFSHORE TUESDAY NIGHT AS A TROPICAL WAVE PASSES ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
GULF. ON WEDNESDAY...UPPER RIDGE WILL CONTINUE TO INCH CLOSER TO THE
LOCAL AREA AND HIGHS WILL REACH THE UPPER 90S REGIONWIDE. THANKS TO
THE DRIER CONDITIONS...HEAT INDICIES WILL ONLY BE AROUND 100
DEGREES. NO CHANCE FOR POPS ON WEDNESDAY OR WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
