Magnitude-5.5 earthquake reported in Canada

TORONTO (AP) - Residents of several areas, including the city of Toronto and parts of upstate New York and Vermont, could feel the ground shaking on Wednesday.

The USGS said the quake occurred at a depth of 19.2 kilometers.

The quake occurred at 1:41 p.m. EDT (1741 GMT).

There were no immediate reports of damages.
