Short Term Discussion

LARGE SURFACE LOW OVER NEW ENGLAND WILL BEGIN TO PULL NORTHEAST AS THE UPPER WAVE GETS ABSORBED AND THE SHORTWAVE ACROSS THE PLAINS DIVES SOUTHEAST. BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON...THE DYNAMICS ASSOCIATED WITH THE UPPER LEVEL SHORTWAVE MAY BE ENOUGH TO SPARK A FEW AFTERNOON SHOWERS ACROSS OUR NORTHERN ZONES ON TUESDAY. OTHERWISE THE SHORTWAVE WILL ACT TO KEEP WINDS ELEVATED THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT TUESDAY UNTIL THE FEATURE SHIFTS EAST ON WEDNESDAY. WE WILL DRY OUT ONCE AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE BEGINS TO MOVE IN FROM THE WEST. HIGHS THROUGH THE PERIOD WILL REMAIN BELOW CLIMO UNTIL RIDGING TAKES OVER ON THURSDAY. LOWS WILL BE NEAR CLIMO TONIGHT BEFORE FALLING TO BELOW CLIMO THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
