PLEASANT WEATHER WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH GRADUALLY WARMING TEMPERATURES COMING TO THE REGION THROUGH TIME. A LARGE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL SHIFT FROM THE CENTRAL U.S. TO THE SOUTHEASTERN STATES. IN RESPONSE TO THIS...COLD NORTHERLY FLOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEKEND. IN ADDITION...IDEAL RADIATIONAL COOLING EVENTS ARE LIKELY BOTH THURSDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHTS AS WINDS GO CALM OVERNIGHT. FREEZES WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE AND FUTURE WARNINGS MAY NEED TO BE ISSUED IF FORECASTS CONTINUE TO SUPPORT SIMILAR CONDITIONS. DAYTIME TEMPS WILL ALSO REMAIN BELOW NORMAL WITH COLD ADVECTION STAYING IN PLACE THROUGH SATURDAY. NO PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED FOR THE SHORT TERM WITH HIGH PRESSURE AND LARGE-SCALE SUBSIDENCE SETTLING INTO THE REGION. BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON...HIGH TEMPS WILL BE CLOSER TO CLIMO WITH SPRING-LIKE CONDITIONS COMING INTO THE PICTURE. HAVE A NICE DAY AND GET OUT AND ENJOY SOME OF THE FINAL COOL DAYS OF THIS VERY COLD WINTER!
