WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE INTO THE EVENING HOURS WITH A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT INTO THE DAY ON THURSDAY. NORTHWEST TO NORTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TO BETWEEN 20 AND 25 KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO 20 KNOTS POSSIBLE. SEAS WILL BUILD RAPIDLY THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT AND REACH 6 TO 8 FEET OVER THE OFFSHORE LEGS. WINDS AND SEAS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH LATER THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS OVER THE NORTHEAST GULF OF MEXICO. ANOTHER WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOOKS TO PASS SOUTH OF THE FORECAST WATERS FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY. MAY SEE A PERIOD OF CAUTIONARY EAST/NE WINDS WILL THE PASSAGE OF THIS SYSTEM BEFORE HIGH PRESSURE AGAIN TAKES UP POSITION OF THE NE GULF OF MEXICO.
