THE PRESSURE PATTERN WAS VERY WEAK ACROSS OUR AREA THIS EVENING...RESULTING IN VERY LIGHT OR CALM WINDS. VAPOR IMAGERY AND UPPER AIR DATA SHOWED A SHORT WAVE PROPAGATING EASTWARD OVER THE CENTRAL GULF...WITH EVEN A FEW THUNDERSTORMS IN THE WARM SECTOR OVER THE SOUTH CENTRAL GULF. THE TROPOSPHERE ABOVE 600 MB WAS MOIST AT KTAE...AND WE EXPECT THIS MOISTURE (AND CS) TO REMAIN UNTIL ABOUT DAWN. IT MAY BE DIFFICULT TO GET INTO THE UPPER 20S WITH THIS MOISTURE ALOFT...DESPITE THE CALM WINDS. WE RAISED OUR LOW TEMPERATURE FORECAST A FEW DEGREES...BUT DID NOT WANT TO GO TOO WARM IN CASE THE CLEARING OCCURRED A LITTLE BEFORE DAWN AND RAPID COOLING OCCURRED. AREAS TO THE NORTHWEST OF TALLAHASSEE HAVE THE BEST CHANCE FOR FREEZING TEMPERATURES SINCE THERE WILL BE LESS CLOUD COVER.
