THE 00 UTC REGIONAL SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWED A TROUGH (AND FAIRLY TIGHT PRESSURE GRADIENT) ALONG THE U.S. EAST COAST...WITH COOL AND DRY CONDITIONS OVER OUR AREA. RECENT UPPER AIR DATA AND VAPOR IMAGERY INDICATE THAT THE ATMOSPHERE IS VERY DRY OVER THE SOUTHEAST...SO THERE WILL BE NO CLOUDS TO HINDER STRONG RADIATIONAL COOLING TONIGHT. THE ONLY LIMITING FACTOR COULD BE THE SURFACE WINDS NOT GOING COMPLETELY CALM...BUT THEY SHOULD REMAIN LIGHT ENOUGH FOR MUCH OF OUR AREA TO GET FREEZING TEMPERATURES.
