SHORT TERM (TONIGHT-WEDNESDAY NIGHT)... THE COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH EAST OF THE LOCAL AREA THIS EVENING AS A COLD HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN ACROSS THE REGION. THE MODELS ARE ALL IN GOOD AGREEMENT OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AND INDICATE A VERY COLD AND DRY AIR MASS FILLING IN OVER THE AREA BEHIND THIS FRONT. A BLEND OF THE MODEL GUIDANCE OUTPUT OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES DROPPING BELOW FREEZING AFTER MIDNIGHT...THEN BRIEFLY REACHING THE UPPER 20S BY DAYBREAK EACH MORNING. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE UPPER 40S TO LOWER 50S EACH AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES SHOULD REMAIN JUST ABOVE OUR HARD FREEZE CRITERIA THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS TONIGHT. WIND CHILL READINGS SHOULD ALSO REMAIN JUST ABOVE OUR ADVISORY LEVEL OF 20 DEGREES THROUGH THIS TIME.
