AFTER TONIGHT`S FREEZE...WE WILL SEE A DRY AND COOL DAY ON SAT. SNOW ON THE GROUND ACROSS THE NW ZONES WILL INITIALLY INHIBIT TEMP RISES AND HIGHS WILL ONLY BE IN THE LOWER 40S...DESPITE PLENTY OF SUN. THE FL BIG BEND WILL TOP OUT AROUND 50. ANOTHER WIDESPREAD FREEZE IS EXPECTED SAT NIGHT WITH THE COLDEST AREAS FLIRTING WITH HARD FREEZE. TEMPS WILL MODERATE ON SUN WITH HIGHS IN THE LOWER 50S NW TO UPPER 50S SE. THE NEXT POTENT SHORT WAVE TO COME INTO THE PICTURE IS CURRENTLY UP IN THE CENTRAL CANADIAN PRAIRIES AND WILL SWEEP INTO THE BASE OF THE LONG WAVE TROUGH OVER THE TN VALLEY BY SUN NIGHT. A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP INTO THE AREA AT THAT TIME WITH MID RANGE CHANCE POPS ACROSS THE NWRN ZONES TO SLIGHT CHANCE FAR SE.
