RAINFALL REPORTS FROM THURSDAY NIGHT AND THIS MORNING SHOW THAT RAIN WAS HEAVIEST OVER THE WESTERN PARTS OF THE FL PANHANDLE WITH LESSER AMOUNTS TO THE EAST. THE GREATEST RAINFALL TOTALS HAVE BEEN IN THE CHOCTAWHATCHEE AND SHOAL RIVER BASINS WERE 2 TO 4 INCHES FELL. AS THE SHOWERS AND STORMS MOVED EAST OF THOSE BASINS...THEY ACCELERATED AND ALSO SHOWED SOME WEAKENING...THUS RESULTING IN RAINFALL AMOUNTS ON THE ORDER OF 1 TO 2 INCHES. MODERATE TO MAJOR FLOODING CONTINUES ON THE CHOCTAWHATCHEE RIVER NEAR BRUCE-EBRO FL. ELSEWHERE...MINOR FLOODING CONTINUES IN A MANY OF THE RIVER BASINS AS RUNOFF FROM THIS EVENT AS WELL AS THAT OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS CONTINUES TO WORK DOWNSTREAM. MODERATE TO MAJOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING ON THE CHOCTAWHATCHEE, NEAR BRUCE-EBRO.
