THE SOPCHOPPY RIVER AT SOPCHOPPY HAS CRESTED AT 30.29 FT AND IS HOLDING STEADY. A DROP IS FORECAST TO COMMENCE ON SAT. THE CHOCTAWHATCHEE AT BRUCE-EBRO IS RISING A BIT FASTER THAN FORECAST...BUT NOT BY MUCH. THE CURRENT FORECAST HAS THE RIVER REACHING MAJOR FLOOD STAGE ON SUN AND CRESTING AT 18.1 FT WED MORNING. THIS FORECAST WILL NOT BE UPDATED AGAIN UNTIL SAT AFTERNOON. AFTER A SHARP RISE WED NIGHT INTO THU...THE SHOAL RIVER AT MOSSY HEAD HAS DROPPED BELOW MODERATE FLOOD STAGE AND SHOULD RECEDE BELOW FLOOD STAGE SOMETIME ON SAT. THE FLINT RIVER AT BAINBRIDGE IS NOW FORECAST TO REACH FLOOD STAGE SAT EVENING AND MODERATE FLOOD STAGE SUN MORNING WITH A CREST MON NIGHT. THE KINCHAFOONEE CREEK AT DAWSON HAS CRESTED AND RECENTLY DROPPED BELOW MODERATE FLOOD STAGE. THAT FORECAST WILL NEED TO BE UPDATED THIS EVENING. ON THE OCHLOCKONEE RIVER...THOMASVILLE HAS ALREADY REACHED FLOOD STAGE...ABOUT A DAY AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. LOOK FOR AN UPDATE THERE AS WELL. DOWNSTREAM...CONCORD IS INCHING TOWARD FLOOD STAGE AND HAVANA IS PREDICTED TO REACH FLOOD STAGE SAT EVENING WITH A CREST MON NIGHT. A FORECAST FOR CONCORD WILL BE PREPARED THIS EVENING. SEVERAL OTHER RIVERS ARE ALSO IN FLOOD.
