AS OF 01Z RAIN HAS BEEN REPORTED AT ALL TERMINALS EXCEPT KVLD WHICH WILL BE IMPACTED SHORTLY. AREAS OF RAIN WITH EMBEDDED TSTMS WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST ACROSS THE TRI-STATE REGION UNTIL A COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON. UNTIL THEN...THERE WILL BE PERIODS OF IFR/LIFR CIGS/VSBYS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. ALL TAF SITES INCLUDE TEMPOS FOR TSTMS WITH GUSTY WINDS ALONG WITH LIFR VSBYS/CIGS. ONCE THE FRONT HAS CLEARED THE AREA THURSDAY AFTERNOON...LOW CIGS WILL STILL BE POSSIBLE BUT VSBYS SHOULD IMPROVE THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE FORECAST.
