HIGH PRESSURE EXTENDING DOWN FROM THE MID-ATLANTIC STATES TO THE NORTHEAST GULF WILL KEEP WINDS AND SEAS LOW THROUGH THE DAYLIGHT HOURS OF THURSDAY. LIGHT NORTH TO NORTHEAST FLOW THIS EVENING IS RUNNING AT 10 KNOTS OR LESS WITH SEAS OF ONLY 1 TO 2 FEET. AS THE HIGH SHIFT TO THE EAST DURING THURSDAY THESE WINDS WILL VEER TO THE EAST WHILE REMAIN AROUND 10 KNOTS. THE GRADIENT WILL THEN BEGIN TO SLOWLY TIGHTEN INTO FRIDAY AS LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS IN THE WESTERN GULF OF MEXICO. EXPECT WINDS AND SEAS TO SLOWLY INCREASING AS WE HEAD INTO THE WEEKEND AND THE LOW PRESSURE APPROACHES THE NORTHEAST GULF.
