Freezing Temps Put Kink in Travel Plans

Heavy snowfall on Saturday forced the delay or cancellation of scores of flights at airports in Europe.

In Frankfurt, Germany, more than 200 domestic and international flights had been cancelled because of heavy snowfall.

A plane slid off the runway and got stuck in the snow late Friday night.

Nobody was injured, but the airport was closed for more than two hours.

In France, 25 percent of flights scheduled to leave Paris' Charles De Gaulle airport were cancelled today because of the snowstorms.
