THE COLD FRONT PUSHED OUT OF THE REGION EARLY THIS MORNING AND WHAT IS LEFT OF THE RAIN BAND IS SLOWLY DIMINISHING IN THE FAR EASTERN ZONES IN FL. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BEGIN TO DOMINATE THE AREA AND THERE IS NO CHANCE OF RAIN THROUGH THE WEEKEND. IN THE WAKE OF THIS COLD FRONT...MUCH COLDER AND DRIER ARCTIC AIR WILL FILTER INTO THE REGION QUICKLY. THIS DRY ARCTIC AIR WILL LEAD TO RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES FALLING WELL BELOW CRITICAL VALUES IN THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE AND FLORIDA BIG BEND THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK. VERY LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES COUPLED WITH HIGH DISPERSIONS WILL LEAD TO RED FLAG CONDITIONS. A RED FLAG WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR SATURDAY FOR THE FL BIG BEND AND FL PANHANDLE ON SATURDAY DUE TO LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES AND HIGH DISPERSIONS...AND A FIRE WX WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR SUNDAY FOR THE SAME REASONS.
