CURRENT SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWS A 992MB LOW IN SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS WITH A TRAILING COLD FRONT SOUTH ACROSS WESTERN LOUISIANA INTO THE GULF OF MEXICO. HIGH PRESSURE IS RIDGING DOWN ALONG THE FRONT RANGE OF THE ROCKIES INTO WEST TEXAS FROM A CENTER IN ALBERTA. ALSO...HIGH PRESSURE IS CENTERED IN EASTERN CANADA NEAR JAMES BAY WITH RIDGING EXTENDING DOWN THE EASTERN SEABOARD. ALOFT ACCORDING TO SATELLITE IMAGERY...THE CENTER OF CIRCULATION IS IN NORTHEAST TEXAS. THE SECOND SHORT WAVE IS DROPPING RAPIDLY SOUTHWARD ACROSS EASTERN MONTANA AND NORTHEAST WYOMING. BIG RIDGES ARE SITUATED ON BOTH SIDES OF THE TROUGH. CLOSER TO HOME...A PATCH OF MAINLY RAIN EXTENDS SOUTHWARD ALONG THE GEORGIA ALABAMA BORDER INTO THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE. AT 19Z...TEMPS IN THE CWA RANGED FROM THE LOWER 50S IN SOUTHEAST ALABAMA TO THE MID 70S IN THE SOUTHEAST BIG BEND... DEWPOINTS WERE IN THE 50S...AND WINDS WERE MAINLY EASTERLY AROUND 10 KNOTS...A LITTLE MORE SOUTHEASTERLY IN PENINSULA FLORIDA. OFFSHORE WINDS WERE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 25 TO 30 KNOTS.
