THE CHOCTAWHATCHEE RIVER NEAR BRUCE FL CRESTED AT 19.1 FT MON MORNING AND IS FORECAST TO SLOWLY RECEDE...BUT REMAIN IN MAJOR FLOOD FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK. UPSTREAM AT CARYVILLE FL...MINOR FLOODING CONTINUES WITH A STAGE OF 15.5 FT AT MON NOON EST. THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE FALLING AT A STEADY PACE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. FURTHER UPSTREAM AT GENEVA AL...THE RIVER IS SLOWLY RECEDING WITH A STAGE OF 25.7 FT AT 11 AM MON EST. A FASTER RECESSION IS FORECAST TO CONTINUE...FALLING BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. ON THE KINCHAFOONEE CREEK NEAR DAWSON GA...THE RIVER IS FORECAST TO FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE TUESDAY AFTERNOON. ON THE FLINT RIVER AT ALBANY GA...THE STAGE WAS 22 FT LATE MON MORNING. THE RIVER WILL DROP BELOW FLOOD STAGE LATE WEDNESDAY. FURTHER DOWNSTREAM AT BAINBRIDGE GA...THE STAGE WAS 26.3 FT LATE MON MORNING. THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL TO BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY EARLY CHRISTMAS MORNING. ON THE APALACHICOLA RIVER...A FLOOD WARNING WAS ISSUED FOR THE WOODRUFF DAM WITH A STAGE OF 66.2 FT LATE MON MORNING. THE RIVER WAS CONTINUING TO FALL TO BELOW FLOOD STAGE LATE MON EVENING. AT BLOUNTSTOWN FL...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE RISING TO NEAR 22.2 FEET BY TUESDAY MORNING THEN BEGIN FALLING.
