.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...
WE ARE BECOMING INCREASINGLY CONFIDENT THAT AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL DEVELOP IN THE NORTHWEST GULF OF MEXICO ON FRIDAY AND THEN TRACK EAST NORTHEAST ACROSS THE NORTH CENTRAL GULF TO THE EASTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE BY SOMETIME SATURDAY NIGHT. WINDS WILL VEER TO
ONSHORE AND INCREASE AHEAD OF THE SYSTEM FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY AND THIS WILL INCREASE THE RIP CURRENT RISK. WINDS AND SEAS WILL LIKELY WARRANT SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES FOR SATURDAY SOUTH OF THE PANHANDLE. CURRENTLY, ANY SEVERE WEATHER THAT WOULD OCCUR WITH THIS SYSTEM WOULD BE IN THE GULF OR POSSIBLY ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE FROM NEAR APALACHICOLA TO TALLAHASSEE...BUT AT THIS TIME IT APPEARS THAT THE
MAIN THREAT WOULD BE THE POTENTIAL OF HEAVY RAIN (1 - 2+ INCHES)...ESPECIALLY SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT. IF THE LOW TRACKS FURTHER NORTH THAN ANTICIPATED AND THE
MARINE WARM FRONT MOVES INLAND...THE THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER WOULD INCREASE FOR SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED.
