THE WEAK FRONT OVER THE NORTHEAST GULF WILL DRIFT SLOWLY EAST TONIGHT AND DISSIPATE ON THURSDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN FROM THE WEST. THE PRESSURE GRADIENT MAY TIGHTEN ENOUGH THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING TO INCREASE WINDS TO NEAR EXERCISE CAUTION CRITERIA. AFTER A BRIEF RELAXATION OF THE PRESSURE GRADIENT DURING THE DAY ON FRIDAY...IT WILL TIGHTEN ONCE AGAIN BEGINNING FRIDAY NIGHT AS LOW PRESSURE TAKES SHAPE IN THE WESTERN GULF OF MEXICO. THIS LOW IS FORECAST TO MOVE NORTHEAST TOWARD THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE COAST LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON...AND DRAG A COLD FRONT ACROSS THE MARINE AREA ON SUNDAY.
