Short Term Discussion

THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT...AS THE DEEP LAYER LOW PRESSURE ALONG THE EASTERN SEABOARD SLOWLY DRIFTS SOUTHEAST AND WEAKENS...A TROUGH WILL DIG INTO THE SOUTHERN ROCKIES OVER THE WEEKEND AND AN UPPER LOW WILL CUT OFF OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS. SANDWICHED BETWEEN THE TWO LOWS...HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL DOMINATE THE SOUTHEASTERN STATES THROUGH THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. THIS WILL YIELD MILD TEMPERATURES AND DRY CONDITIONS THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH VERY LIGHT WINDS. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL PUSH INTO THE UPPER 70S TO NEAR 80 DEGREES THE NEXT TWO AFTERNOON. THE LIGHT WINDS...CLEAR SKIES...AND DRY AIRMASS WILL ALSO ALLOW TEMPS TO FALL INTO THE MID 40S EACH MORNING THROUGH MONDAY
