LOOKING AT THE BIG PICTURE THIS EVENING...WE CONTINUE TO SEE THE MASSIVE NOR`EASTER SPINNING OFF THE MID ATLANTIC COAST WHICH IS ONLY SLOWLY DRIFTING OUT TO SEA. A BROAD POSITIVELY TILTED LONG WAVE TROUGH DOMINATES MUCH OF CENTRAL AND WRN CANADA AND THE WRN U.S. WITHIN THIS TROUGH...A POTENT SHORT WAVE IS MOVING OUT INTO THE NRN PLAINS AS ANOTHER PUSHES ACROSS THE PAC NW. CLOSER TO HOME...WE SEE A RIDGE ACROSS MOST OF THE SERN U.S. WITH THE AXIS BUILDING EVER CLOSER TO THE AREA. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE IS CENTERED OVER THE N CENTRAL GULF COAST. SATELLITE SHOWS CIRRUS CLOUDS STREAMING OVER THE UPPER RIDGE AXIS INTO OUR FORECAST AREA. SKIES ARE CLEAR BELOW THE CIRRUS. THIS CIRRUS MAY KEEP TEMPS A DEGREE OR SO HIGHER THAN THE MOS...OR SIMILAR TO THIS MORNING`S MIN TEMPS. THIS IS ALREADY REFLECTED IN THE INHERITED FORECAST. NO UPDATES WILL BE NECESSARY.
