THE STACKED LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM JUST OFF THE COAST OF NORTH CAROLINA WILL MOVE SLOWLY TO THE EAST THROUGH THE FORECAST PERIOD. AS IT DOES...DEEP LAYER RIDGING WILL BUILD OVER THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE U.S. THIS AIRMASS WILL BE VERY DRY AND THEREFORE NO CHANCE OF RAIN IN THE SHORT TERM FORECAST. WITH THE BUILDING UPPER RIDGE...TEMPERATURE WILL CONTINUE TO MODERATE WITH HIGH TEMPS PUSHING TOWARD THE 80 DEGREE MARK ON SATURDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE ON THE COOL SIDE WITH NEARLY IDEAL RADIATIONAL COOLING CONDITIONS. WE EXPECT MIN TEMPS IN THE LOWER TO MID 40S AWAY FROM THE COAST BOTH NIGHTS.
