THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT...WHILE THE CENTER OF IDA CONTINUES TO SLOWLY MOVE EAST THROUGH THE WESTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE...THE BULK OF THE RAIN IS SITUATED ALONG THE EASTERN BORDER OF THE CWA AND WELL NORTH OF THE CWA. THE EASTERN BAND IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE PROGRESSING THROUGH THIS EVENING AND EXIT THE AREA. WILL CONTINUE TO SEE SOME LIGHT SHOWER ACTIVITY THROUGH THE NIGHT AHEAD OF THE SFC LOW...BUT QPF AMOUNTS WILL BE VERY LIGHT. WITH THIS IN MIND...WILL DROP THE FLOOD WATCH WITH THE AFTERNOON PACKAGE. SFC WINDS CONTINUE TO GUST UP TO 25 TO 30 MPH THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS THE REGION...SO WILL CONTINUE THE LAKE WIND ADVISORY THROUGH EARLY EVENING. THE LOW IS EXPECT TO SHIFT INTO THE ATLANTIC ON WEDNESDAY WITH STRONG HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING IN IN ITS WAKE. THIS WILL LEAD TO GUSTY WINDS ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE DAY WEDNESDAY. ANOTHER LAKE WIND ADVISORY WILL NEED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE NEXT FULL PACKAGE. TIDES CONTINUE RUNNING ABOUT 3 FEET ABOVE NORMAL THIS AFTERNOON...BUT WITH ONSHORE FLOW DIMINISHING...THIS SURGE SHOULD CONTINUE TO DECLINE INTO THE EVENING. WILL CONTINUE TO ADVERTISE EXPIRATION OF THE COASTAL FLOOD WARNING FOR EARLY THIS EVENING. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING INTO THE REGION OVER THE NEXT THREE DAYS WILL USHER IN A SOMEWHAT COOLER AND DRIER AIRMASS. TEMPERATURES WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY ARE FORECAST TO BE A COUPLE OF DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.
