WINDS WILL GRADUALLY SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AND NORTH OVER THE WATERS AS THE REMNANT CENTER OF IDA MOVES EAST ALONG THE GULF COAST TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. STRONG HIGH PRESSURE WILL ALSO BUILD IN BEHIND THE FRONT. THE TIGHT GRADIENT BETWEEN THESE FEATURES WILL RESULT IN STRONG OFFSHORE FLOW OVER THE WATERS STARTING TONIGHT AND CONTINUING THROUGH THURSDAY. SUSTAINED WINDS NEAR 25 KNOTS EXPECTED WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS TO 35 KNOTS. WILL EXTEND THE CURRENT SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY THROUGH THURSDAY. BY FRIDAY...HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES IN ALONG THE GULF COAST WITH WINDS AND SEAS DIMINISHING THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
