EASTERN PANHANDLE UNTIL THIS EVENING...

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT FOR THE BEACHES OF THE WESTERN
BIG BEND AND EASTERN PANHANDLE UNTIL THIS EVENING...

...A LAKE WIND ADVISORY IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR ALL ZONES EXCEPT
WALTON...BAY...GULF...FRANKLIN...WAKULLA...AND JEFFERSON UNTIL THIS
EVENING...

THE REMNANTS OF IDA CONTINUE TO SLOWLY MOVE EASTWARD ALONG THE
COASTAL SECTIONS OF THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE. MODERATE TO HEAVY
RAINFALL HAS ENDED FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE FORECAST AREA EXCEPT
FOR EAST OF THE INTERSTATE 75 CORRIDOR IN GEORGIA...AND THE
SOUTHEAST FLORIDA BIG BEND. GENERALLY...RAINFALL AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN
AROUND ONE TO TWO INCHES...EXCEPT AROUND TWO AND ONE-HALF TO FOUR
INCHES IN THE EASTERN FLORIDA PANHANDLE AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST
ALABAMA. FURTHERMORE...VERY HIGH SURF WITH BATTERING WAVES AND
BEACH EROSION ARE CONTINUING TO IMPACT THE BEACHES OF THE PANHANDLE
AND WESTERN BIG BEND...MAKING CONDITIONS LIFE THREATENING FOR
ANYONE ENTERING THE WATER.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE IN BEHIND THE REMNANTS OF IDA ON
WEDNESDAY WITH COOLER AND DRIER LASTING INTO THURSDAY. THE FAIR
WEATHER WILL CONTINUE FOR FRIDAY AND THE UPCOMING WEEKEND WITH A
DECENT WARMUP AS WELL...WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES POSSIBLE REACHING
OR EXCEEDING 80 DEGREES IN SOME AREAS. THE NEXT SLIGHT CHANCE OF
RAIN IS NOT EXPECTED UNTIL THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY WHEN A WEAKENING
COLD IS EXPECTED TO APPROACH FROM THE WEST.
