THE 19 UTC REGIONAL SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWED AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHEAST U.S....WITH A MILD AND VERY DRY AIRMASS IN PLACE. VAPOR IMAGERY SHOWED RISING HEIGHTS OVER THE EASTERN CONUS AND A CUTOFF LOW MOVING EAST OVER THE BAJA. TROPICAL DEPRESSION IDA WAS NEAR THE HONDURAS COAST...AND THE 18 UTC 850 MB VORTICITY ANALYSIS FROM THE UW CIMSS SITE SHOWED A VORT MAX OVER THE BAY OF CAMPECHE.
