A DRY AIR MASS WILL REMAIN IN PLACE ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA THIS AFTERNOON. EXTENDED DURATIONS OF RELATIVE HUMIDITY BELOW 35 PERCENT ARE ONGOING ACROSS THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE AND BIG BEND RESULTING IN RED FLAG CONDITIONS. RELATIVE HUMIDITY IS NOW EXPECTED TO REMAIN AT OR JUST BELOW 25 PERCENT ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTH-CENTRAL GEORGIA AND RED FLAG WARNINGS ARE NOW IN EFFECT FOR THESE AREAS AS WELL. FURTHER WEST INTO SOUTHWEST GEORGIA AND SOUTHEAST ALABAMA...BRIEF DURATIONS OF RELATIVE HUMIDITY NEAR 25 PERCENT ARE STILL EXPECTED...HOWEVER CRITICAL DURATIONS SHOULD NOT BE MET.
