(THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY)...SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN FROM THE NORTH THURSDAY BEHIND THE DRY COLD FRONT. THE HIGH WILL BE CENTERED OVER THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE U.S THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS UPPER RIDGING BUILDS IN FROM THE WEST. THE DEEP LAYER RIDGING WILL PROVIDE FAIR WEATHER ALONG WITH TEMPERATURES MODERATING TO NEAR SEASONAL LEVELS. ON MONDAY...THE SURFACE AND UPPER RIDGE WILL BEGIN TO SLIDE EAST AS A DEEPENING TROUGH MOVES INTO THE NATION`S MID SECTION. ALSO...THE GFS SHOWS A TROPICAL OR SUB-TROPICAL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DEVELOPING IN THE WESTERN GULF OF MEXICO WITH PRECIPITATION SPREADING ONSHORE FROM SOUTH TEXAS THROUGH THE COASTAL AREAS OF LOUISIANA. SURFACE RIDGING OVER THE LOCAL AREA WILL HOLD THIS SYSTEM TO OUR WEST AT LEAST THROUGH MONDAY.
