THE GRADIENT BETWEEN HIGH PRESSURE TO OUR NORTHWEST AND AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT TO OUR WEST WILL PROVIDE SOUTHEAST FLOW THROUGH TONIGHT WITH WINDS ACROSS THE WESTERN LEGS APPROACHING CAUTIONARY LEVELS AND THEN ADVISORY LEVELS AT TIMES...ESPECIALLY OFFSHORE. A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH FROM THE WEST OVERNIGHT AND PASS THROUGH THE COASTAL WATERS SATURDAY. CAUTIONARY LEVEL WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE NORTHWEST AND EVENTUALLY NORTH BEHIND THE FRONT. IN ITS WAKE...WINDS SHOULD APPROACH ADVISORY LEVELS INTO SUNDAY. STRONG HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS TO OUR NORTH INTO THE EARLY PORTION OF NEXT WEEK WITH ELEVATED NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS AND SEAS IN THE FORECAST.
