THE UPPER LOW WILL CONTINUE TO BE CENTERED OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS THROUGH FRIDAY. THE LOW WILL THEN LIFT TO THE NORTHEAST AND OPEN UP AS IT CROSSES THE GREAT LAKES AND DAMPEN OUT NORTH OF NEW ENGLAND SUNDAY NIGHT. MEANWHILE...ANOTHER CLOSED LOW DEVELOPS AND TRANSLATES ALONG OR JUST NORTH THE U.S./CANADIAN BORDER SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. AS A RESULT...THE RIDGE OVER THE EASTERN U.S. WILL FLATTEN AND BE REPLACED WITH AN AMPLIFYING TROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK. AT THE SURFACE...A COLD FRONT WILL GRADUALLY EDGE CLOSER AND IS FORECAST TO PUSH THROUGH THE LOCAL REGION LATE MONDAY WITH MUCH DRIER AIR FILTERING IN ITS WAKE. IN THE MEANTIME...WE WILL CONTINUE TO EXPERIENCE ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES ALONG WITH A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EACH DAY.
