THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST ALABAMA...
SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA...AND THE FLORIDA BIG BEND
AND PANHANDLE...AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
A SURFACE AND UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY MOVE EAST
ALONG THE NORTHERN GULF COAST TODAY. DEEP TROPICAL MOISTURE WILL
COMBINE WITH INCREASING DYNAMICS AS THE SYSTEM APPROACHES. THE
RESULT WILL BE SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND STORMS ACROSS THE
REGION. SIGNIFICANT SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT ANTICIPATED WITH THE
STORMS...HOWEVER THE POTENTIAL DOES EXIST FOR SOME LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE PANHANDLE INTO SOUTHEAST ALABAMA.
MINOR FLOODING IS POSSIBLE AND WE CAN NOT RULE OUT LARGER SCALE
FLOODING IS STORMS STALL OVER ANY AREA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...THE DEEP LAYER
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY MOVE EAST TO NORTHEAST INTO MIDWEEK.
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE.
THE THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER REMAINS LOW. HOWEVER THE PERSISTENT
LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL SPREAD EAST ENCOMPASSING ALL OF THE FORECAST
AREAS INTO WEDNESDAY. THIS WILL INCREASE THE CHANCES OF URBAN AND
SMALL SCALE FLOODING AND POSSIBLY MORE WIDESPREAD FLOODING.
SEVERAL INCHES OF TOTAL RAINFALL ACCUMULATION ARE POSSIBLE IN SPOTS
THROUGH THE WEEK...WITH THE HIGHEST THREAT OVER THE FLORIDA
PANHANDLE AND SOUTHEAST ALABAMA. THE RAIN COVERAGE AND THE THREAT
OF FLOODING WILL DECREASE BEGINNING ON THURSDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER
EMERGENCY MANAGERS AND SPOTTERS SHOULD MONITOR THE WEATHER IN CASE
FLOODING OCCURS.
