THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST ALABAMA...
SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA...AND THE FLORIDA BIG BEND
AND PANHANDLE...AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME. A RIDGE OF HIGH
PRESSURE WILL DOMINATE CONDITIONS ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION TODAY
WITH JUST A SLIGHT CHANCE OF AN AFTERNOON SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM
ACROSS WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE CWA. FURTHER TO THE SOUTH AND EAST
OVER THE FLORIDA BIG BEND...IT MAY BE HOT AND DRY ENOUGH FOR FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS TO APPROACH RED FLAG LEVELS...WITH THE
POSSIBILITY OF 1 TO 3 HOURS OF RELATIVE HUMIDITY BELOW 35 PERCENT
IN SOME AREAS DURING THE AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
THE RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL LIKELY HOLD ON THROUGH THURSDAY
WITH JUST SLIGHT CHANCES FOR AFTERNOON SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS
EACH DAY. THEREAFTER...THE FORECAST WILL LIKELY BECOME MUCH MORE
COMPLEX AND UNSETTLED...WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF A LARGE AREA OF
LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING OVER THE GULF OF MEXICO AND HEADING
TOWARDS OUR REGION LATE IN THE WEEK AND THROUGHOUT THE UPCOMING
WEEKEND. AT THIS TIME...IT IS TOO EARLY TO SPECULATE THE EXACT
TIMING AND DURATION OF THIS EVENT...BUT SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL IS
CLEARLY A POSSIBILITY WITH THIS SYSTEM. THEREFORE...ALL INTERESTS
WITH OUTDOOR PLANS SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS
FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TODAY.

FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION...VISIT THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
WEBSITE ON THE INTERNET AT WEATHER.GOV...THEN CLICK ON YOUR AREA
OF INTEREST ON THE NATIONAL MAP.
